What we collect and why

When you enquire about a domain, we collect the name, email address, message and domain name you submit. We use this information to reply and discuss a possible sale. Our lawful basis for that is taking steps at your request before a potential contract. We keep a short record of enquiries under our legitimate interests in managing follow-up and resolving questions. We do not use enquiry details to send marketing emails.

Where your enquiry goes

We use Formspree to receive and store enquiries and email us a notification. Formspree hosts its service in the United States and says it uses Standard Contractual Clauses as a data processor. You can email us for more information about the transfer safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that do not lead to a sale for up to 12 months, then delete them unless we need to keep them for a legal reason. If a sale goes ahead, we may keep the related transaction records longer to meet legal or tax obligations.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct your information, request its deletion, object to our use of it, or raise a concern by emailing im@justcurious.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
